OMG!! That's a great idea!! **hugs** Welcome to the family! Pavel, come say hello to your new daughter!! Oh, and of course you can bring a pet!
In Australia, you go to the same school (high school) from years 7 through to 12. Generally there is no such thing as middle school or junior high. Now that I've got that out of the way, high school sucked.
the only good thing about school for me is the social part... there are no subjects that have anything to do with what i want to do - which is photograpyhy - they used to do photography but by the time i got into high shcool they turned the dark room into a store room... so its a bit of a waste of time really...
I hate it and I will be happy when I get out. But, still some people are ok. Not a lot, but still, a couple...
Wasnt bad at all.. When I was in H.S. its like everyone basically got a long with one another until I was like a Senior and then they like all the freshman kids were like those crazy kid types and yeah, they were annoying as hell But anyways, my last two years were filled with art classes and such and it was nice actually...
I LOVE the academic part of High School. Straight A's, AP classes as a sophomore (only one!), Honors Physics classes, 3 years ahead in math... it's great. And of course, extracurriculars are great too. President of Model U.N., JV Academic Bowl captain, Math team, Band, student newspaper... My only problem is the whole social part about high shcool. I have friends that I talk with and what not, but I'm not that outgoing (very introverted!), and I really can't stand my peers at all (It's going to be SO different next semeseter. I'm in AP European History right now, with all the top students in the senior class, and it's going to be absolute hell in Speech with all the annoying sophomores!), but that's not what high school's about.
