Texas Cannabis Crusade

On May 1st of this year in Austin, Texas there's going to be a march to the state capitol for the legalization/decriminalization of cannabis here in Texas. This is the Crusade's 3rd year, and it's getting better and better every time. I wrote a letter to the editor here where I live (Lubbock, TX), telling them about the Crusade, but I got a reply back saying that they "don't feel that my letter is appropriate at this time." so....awesome. But I just want to do my part to spread the word about the march, because there's strength in numbers!! Even though I live in one of the ONLY states that doesn't have ANY law-changing proposals for cannabis in legislature at this time, I'm hoping this year's Crusade will be the tipping point!!!

Yea, i live at the southern tip of the country's bible belt, so things run differently here than in the rest of texas. The religious right are who control everything up here; if they don't agree with it, it doesn't happen....i lived in austin for 7 years, so i can't wait to get back, especially for the crusade...hope to see u there too, and everyone else!
