Im almost out of oxycontin for the week so I bought three suboxone 8mg pills. I have two questions about them: if a snort a sub a few hours after my last oxy dose will I get sick because of the naloxone? And if I get oxy in a few days will it still get me high if say I hadnt taken a sub for 12 hours? In other words how long should I wait before doing oxy again so I dont waste it? Any experienced help appreciated.
I think you would get sick, you have to wait a while after your last opiate not to get sick off Suboxone, and vice versa. That's what I've heard at least. The one time I took it (actually found a couple pills on the ground at work) I hadn't taken opiates in weeks so I have no personal experience.
ive done hydros one weekend and the next weekend done some suboxone. ive always felt fine and got high either way. of course that could more than enough time in between but im not an expert on that. i wouldnt do a sub only hours after doing your last oxy dose. wait at least a day or 2. i made the mistake of snorting an oc 20 a few hours after i did a line of suboxone and an hour later i was praying to the toilet. of course it could be cause i did the sub before the oxy and not vice versa. idk, maybe someone can clear it up for me or maybe has a clear answer for the topic altogether? lol
a lot of people just snort subs because they're used to snorting their pill of choice. i advise against snorting any pill esp. xanax i had a buddy who blew three holes in his nose snorting xanax and ye, it's no fun to go through that shit.
i snort subs because its quick. ive done it under my tongue too but i dont like it too much because it makes me drool and the taste starts to get to me. when i snort, its up my nose in one second and when i start to get the drip, i just drink some pop or juice or something. the taste of subs used to not bother me but lately every time i think about the taste i wanna gag. maybe because ive gotten so used to the bitter chalky taste of other pills that a "normal" flavor like orange has become the abnormal?

well i ended up snorting 4mg only two hours after my last oxy dose and i was fine, and god dam those things are nice really quite enjoyable, not as euphoric as oxy but very relaxing effect for hours and hours. All I need to know now is will I be able to get high from oxy a day after stopping the subs?

Dont take a sub for at least 12 hrs after your last opiate dose, and dont take a short acting opiate for at least 72hrs after your last sub dose. I never personally got sick taking a sub too soon (4 hrs) after my last ope dose, but YMMV
You're right slingblade you should wait 72 hrs before going back to regular opiates, my last sub dose was about 24 hours ago and I took an oxy about an hour ago and Im so fucking dizzy, not a good feeling at all
