i voted "no" because i really dont care... let people rep. each other to no end and form "rep cliques"- if they even exist... i dont know, because i personally dont care. it doesnt effect me.

i dont care how much rep. i have either. not saying i dont like to read the nice (and mean) comments...

also, when i rep. people (pos. or neg.)- it's when i feel someone deserves it... for saying something really inspiring, intelligent, thoughtful, nice, mean, or rude...

Yes, I lose sleep over what people in the forums might think of me, and that I might not be able to keep up with such intellectual masterminds as LoveFlower and Bloody_Kisses in the rep and post count department.

 

I'm gonna have to say no because I'm new and have no idea what this rep thing is- lol

 

do you ever have dreams about it, matt? i had a nightmare the other night that the rep. fairy turned evil and tried to kill me. it was very sad.

 

It's not how much rep someone has, it's how you guys have just made a stupid game of giving it back and forth between the same little handful of people and making the whole thing obsolete.... Not that it was ever a really great idea in the first place.... Obviously, you care.... you're only so defensive of it because you're one of the ones in the "cliques" kissing each other's asses and completely fucking up something that could have been kind of cool. It doesn't effect you? That's bullshit, Trish.

 

Oh, now I'm in this clique? Interesting.... since I didn't even know there WAS a clique.. i might have had a vague idea but i didnt care.

i just think this is hilarious how certain people seem to be bonding together to seem "cool" on an on line forum because they dont like rep.- if you dont like it, DONT PARTICIPATE. how hard is that.

like i said, i give rep. when it is deserved. i have NEVER asked for rep.

im not defensive either...im laughing at you people. i think you care a little bit too much about rep., hannah or whatever your name is.

 

Heck I was on the old forums about a month before they changed everything (for some unknown reason) and been on the new forums for about 6 months...Just found out about my reps last month and I have 37 now (few people didn't even leave their name when they gave me points) Sorry I ain't losing no sleep cuz I don't have more and still not totally sure what the silly green jewels are all about.

 

it wasnt an unknown reason it was clearly stated at the time of the change.

 

the point is, the gems are posted beside one's name, interval. consciously or not, this rep is up for all to see. i think we've agreed that the gems are ridiculous, and an anonymous message would do the same job, minus the "reputation".

yeah, rep. is silly but the point is.... who really cares? i mean, why should anyone let it bug them? there are so many more important things in life. i could care less what people think of me... note- a lot of people here dont like me. that's fine.

if someone wants to judge me based on my rep., or lack of, fine. i judge people based on their personalities.
