Im really Exited, although im diving deep into the unknown. I dont know how i will make it there, how i will be able to "pay" for everything and the fact the i need a chaperon. If there is will there is a way
Good luck. I hope you get it all cleared up before the event. Do you have some older friends you can ask?
Yeah I talked to some friends but they weren't interested in going to shambala. I'll just have to grow some facial hair :b
Ha! Just remembered i'll be turning 18 at the end of June, so i should be fine. Im not much of a drinker so I wont be bringing any boose, but I would like to experiment with some other psychedelics if the opportunity presents itself.
Hmmm, I think the age is actually 19 in BC. I'd check the website to find out. http://www.shambhalamusicfestival.com
Attendees who are age 18 or younger must be under the supervision of a responsible adult chaperon at all times. Ummm.... Guess not It's all good though, I might just take a trip to the Robson Vally Musik Fest again, it was a great crowd and alot of fun
dude man that really sucks. I will have to find a friend that is 25 now . i really hope i can make it.
Man I live in the northeast US and we get a shitload of festivals out this way but I am extremely attracted to shambhala. I've watched some youtube videos sweet jesus! I want to experience that place, I need to find someone to go with me. Why does this have to be so far from me. damn it Edit: Just mapquested it. It's a 39 hour drive from my house ha
liquidaccrobat - I quickly googled sonic bloom and looked at their website. #1... Shambhala is 24/7. There is music whenever you want music. Sonic Bloom seems to only run their stage for about 12 hours. There are I think 6 stages at Shambhala that span all different times of music... specifically EDM but also some bands, etc. Shambhala just ins't about the music though. There are a lot of smaller DJs that come as well as bigger acts like EOTO and Bassnectar. TheKitch - Why not fly? But in saying that... people travel from all over to the festival. It is SOOOOO worth it!
Thanks daisy. I had the feeling it would be something like that. Yeah TK, it's a long haul from here too. Flying ... hmm
Aug 4 -9th. And honestly, I don't find it expensive at all. With the amount of talent that attends as well as camp grounds... very affordable. And if you don't have the cash, you can always volunteer and you get in for free. All you need to offer is 3 shifts of 8 hours. Lots of opportunity for ppl that can't afford it. =)
ohhhh man! so stoked for Shambles!!!! if you can make it out, honestly it's so magical and amazing there, you'll love it! it's totally worth the effort/dollaz to check out this festival. The energy there is like nothing else!!!
