oshinn's timeline

i figured i should start one of these threads. so here are some photos. you can probably ignore this for a few months until major stuff starts happening. but my hair's doing pretty well. it's been a month, and i can't run my fingers through it anymore, and the hairs that detatch from my head are staying knotted with the others


this is what my hair looked like before i started. it's naturally fine, thick and wavy.


after a couple days it was starting to separate well on its own.


one week. my hair seems to want to dread.

 

10 days

almost 2 weeks, wet from the bath


3.5 weeks. as you can see it is starting to look looser as the hairs are finding each other

 

and today... my 1 month dready birthday. it's not much, but i feel that there's been a lot of progress from the start. i can't wait to see these fuckers at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and onward...


that one at the front is turning into a dread

i keep thinking of backcombing... like every day... but somehow i manage not to... it's worse than cigarette cravings however. so that's why i take pics so often... to show that things are changing even if i don't really see it!

ok since it's been 3 months i thought i would post update pics, a few at least, since my camera got fixed (thank you best buy for your stupidness)





it has been a hassle... they fell out and i did some tnr and am not sure if i have made any progress, but they make me happy still.
