Why does being away from home gets me higher? and i crave cigs harder.

I have noticed something since ive been smoking weed at home more often...
Yesterday(i think) i went out into the next town with some of my buddies and we went to chill at a mall.. after being inside only 10 minutes, i thought of my 2 grams of precious in my pocket and my recently cleaned glass pipe.. all 3 of my buddies also were cravin' for a toke.

So we walked gingerly to a nearby park and vacated a bench, as i rolled a doob and packed my bowl to the brim. This isnt relevant (it was kinda funny at the time) but as we were passing the joint around the circle an old lady(looked around 80) walked up to us and asked me if she could have some. so i agreed and the old bitch took 5 hits off it instead of 1 (i said to her "damn, i guess you need that for your arthritis or something) ... but anyways after we finished the bowl and roach we were heading back to the mall for the munchies and marvelling over how an old lady just popped out of somewhere and hit my weed. I got hit like a brick by the THC and i had electricity pulses surging through my arms and legs, coming from the top of my spine... and the rest of the story is just a haze ...

The thing im trying to say, i have smoked the same amount (Jay and a bowl) with the same buddies, with the same weed just a week ago at my house.. and i wasnt as stoned as yesterday..

Also, when im at school or anywhere else apart from my house, i crave for a ciggy twice as hard as when im at home 0.0

 

might be social anxiety. that fucking old lady is awesome. thats gonna be me one day. you whippersnappers lemme hit that blunt

 

Your house is your shield. A place where you feel secure and safe. But when your are away from your house, you are no longer in you domain. You are now open the elements, no more security blanket. That is the reason you want cigs more. As far as the weed, i think because your are in a different surroundings and you just notice it much more.

 

Yeah man... I havnt smoked a cig in 3 months, and every day I walk into school there are people smoking... It sucks

edit: but yeah, I know what you mean. At home I'm fine, but once I step on that campus I NEED a cig
