The other night, I had a dream I was at a flea market or something and these guys were calling me over to their booth to watch a video. I went over and they showed me a VHS tape that had nothing written on the label, but I knew I had made it. I told them I might be embarrassed by what was on it, but that we could watch it. One of the dudes put the tape in a VCR he had handy and we watched the tape...on the TV screen, I saw one of my old dreams play out. Not the whole thing, just bits and pieces of it. I remember having this recorded dream a few years ago, and it played out on the TV exactly how it did the first time I had it. Has anyone else had this kind of experience? Anyone have any idea why this might have happened?
Nope but interesting. I have had things happen in life that I am sure I have either dreamt of or lived before?
if i interpreted it for myself, i'd think its about showing people your whole life in retrospect. it depends more specifically on your emotion of showing it, what the people seemed to react with the video, etc.
I don't remember their reactions, and I can't recall any emotion behind the original dream, the one that incorporated the original dream, or the playing of the original dream. All I remember after watching it was thinking to myself, "holy shit! how did I record that?!" The dream on the VHS was about my cat that I had gotten a few months before I had the dream in the first place. Nothing has happened with my cat since then, so I'm not sure why that specific dream played out on the TV. I wish I could live in my dream world. Everything in it is so unclear when I'm awake, but so wonderfully sensical (is that even a word?) when I'm sleeping.
I've never dreamed anything like that but.. that's kinda weird. Maybe if you search something about it on google you can find an answer.
Hmm that is kind of similar to a dream I had a month or two ago. it began with me walking around a lake that is at this local park I go to sometimes, and I was looking down at the ground saying to myself angrily "this is stupid, this is stupid" just walking around this lake... and then the next thing I remember in the dream, I was sitting in my French classroom, and we were watching my dream on a projector, like, through my perspective, the way I saw it in the dream originally... and as I was saying "this is stupid, this is stupid" it intensified and the screen burst into fire and exploded into the room knocking everyone unconscious except for myself... and I was left kneeling by them trying to revive them... no conclusion was met that I can remember...
continued on next dream is not all that unusual in mine at all. sometimes, you know, i go to sleep there and wake up here, and then go to sleep here, and wake up the same place i went to sleep there. ok so not all the time. but i HAVE had that.
