Ok. . . I am going to try to explain how awesome yesterday was. Pink Floyd thing starts at 8:00pm Dad and I arrive at sports bar at 6:30. 6:45: I eat two of the 4 firecrackers I brought. 7:30: leave bar to go to the show. 8:30: I'm still sober. 9:15: intermission. As soon as I stand up I feel stoned off my ass. I walk into a mostly deserted bathroom, because I went downstairs to an empty one. Some dude sees how baked I look and asks If I have anything. I told him about the firecrackers and he traded me a half eighth of shrooms for the last two firecrackers! WTF. I kill the bag and hope dad can't tell how fucked up I will be. When I walk out of he bathroom dad buys me beer! I look obviously underage and I'm just walking around. Haha. 9:40: watch rest of show highly intoxicated. I had a light trip, but t was enough to enhance the colors and give me a pretty good feelin. 10:50: back in the car. I somehow maintain normal conversation with my dad. 12:30: bed.
that sounds awesome. you mean a pink floyd tribute band right? what songs did they play? I saw the machine once and they were awesome. And i remember smoking a doobie while seeing the doors without jim morrison. I've seen the moody blues who i love. I went to philly with friends once to a music gig but only to buy shrooms and we got some gnarly truffles. good times.

badass. when I saw David Gilmour n Rick Wright with my dad I hadn't even started smokin weed yet... fuckin shame... i ended up smoking for the first time ever like 2 months after that concert. Prolly won't ever have an opportunity to see David Gilmour again though...
Dude that's sick. With really special concerts I actually prefer being sober though. I can remember it better.

i saw them a few years ago at my undergrad college, on 3 hits of kick ass L. it was a LAME set up though. they had chairs set up right in front of the stage. it was tons of old people. security would ask you to sit down if you stood up (in the front) did you think the singer looked like anyone? darlene from the show roseanne?
