I have always loved getting away to spend a few days in the mountains. As soon as the wife and I tie the knot I would prefer to live around say Hendersonville, its a little slower plus i have a few cool friends i have met down through the years. What with all of the cops on the prowl i will just be taking care of the wife and me with some medical mj
love that IHOP that is around Patton St. I have been in and around Asheville esince i was a kid, when i was a kid Patton ave was a zoo lots easier to get around now since the interstate went in
I posted this in its own thread but it seems the topic is dead. So I live a few hours from Asheville and I don't know anyone there or anything about the place. Id like to find a place i could camp in my truck or at least park somewhere without hassle. I'm mostly a shut in and I don't like going places or doing things but Asheville had certain perks that I would like to experience and they just aren't available where i live. Any advice on finding a hippie hole or community of forgotten woodland dwellers? maybe even a group of friendly and like minded campers? Recommendation for cheap eats also appreciated as i can usually force myself to stop for food if nothing else. :tree:
The last post was on my birthday! I'm moving to Asheville from Salisbury in a week because I'm starting at UNCA. I'm very excited and already know a few people. I think I'll be able to keep busy. I declare this thread RESURRECTED.
