My foster sister attend this college. Despite the fact that the protests have been peaceful, students have been brutalized and attacked unfairly. At one point one girl was beaten, kicked, and punched by police as she laid on the ground trying to block the hits, which only provoked them.
the protests are about the recent unneccesary fee hikes as well as the recent racist graffiti being done at the college.

 

I don't attend this college but its close to my hometown, and I think its ridiculous.

 

its at a bunch of colleges too actually. why do you think its ridiculous?

 

its a 32% hike, one that most already-in-debt students cannot afford.
