...and i have to say i like what i see. i think maybe i'll see what it's about and stuff sometime. too bad it's not in canada though, that'd make it a lot eassier
oh, theres a bunch of small interveiws on youtube of a person asking people around there what the gathering means to them and a video of kids playing some sort of game in kid village
Oh...cool. I've seen quite a few of them. Fortunately for all concerned I'm not in any of them!!! LOL Zen
haha, i thought bringing camera's was frowned upon there though. ah im gussing it depends on who's being filmed...eh
The general idea is to ask permission before taking ones picture. These days with the large LEO presence all are requested to bring video cameras to film them during any encounters as evidence. From personal experience I can tell you some of the cops get upset at being filmed. Hey, it makes my heart happy!!! The videos taken at the Kid Village incident in Wyoming really shut those lying bastards down. Their (LEOs) report of us throwing rocks and sticks at them as a justification for firing on us was shown, by film, to be a blatant lie!!! Zen
haha well im glad that those bastards had the embarassment of getting caught in a lie.... it's about time
Hey Now, You aint bs'n Zen. In Wy. on the 4th, in the meadow, there was a chinese guy from California with a high powered lense, he wasnt asking permission, I made him give me his card. When I called him, he blew me off. I still have the card. He also got photos of me. Back in the day, we took their cameras if they wouldnt take out the film. Remember? Things have changed with all the tech. stuff. But it is a good idea to film them Leo's,just be kind to family, respect each other for sure! Lovins,,,,
I was at the 09' gathering in NM and I couldn't believe that the LEO's still showed up with their paint mace guns. Are they that ignorant to keep showing up; even if they are looking for someone the whole forest echos "6 up!". As far as photos go...it annoys me the most on the streets when everyone take them of you vs out in the woods.
It was a lot easier to frown on cameras back in the day before everyone & their uncle had one on their phone, and nobody kept a phone in their pocket at all times. Only I & a few other grouchy old farts are capable of the amount of frowning that would be required for the task of frowning at every camera at a gathering now days, and I chose to direct my frownery at more serious threats.
Oh How was it?!?! i was raised in Taos NM, Just wondering what path yall took and were did u end up? i want soo bad to be there.... It would of been my first, i would have been alone...:sunny:
