I just took my dog out and found about .6 of weed on the floor in a bag. Theirs a few small nugs with some shake, ecnough for a joint. I dont think its been there long or else I would of seen it earlier. It doesnt smell very good though. Its really white,( dankish white, not cokeish white lol). I know theirs a couple pot heads and dealers in my apartment complex, but I think its pretty sketchy. Im just going to hope its someone that dropped it and didnt know, like ive done a bunch of times. Ill roll it up and smoke it later and report back, if i dont post back here youll know something went wrong haha
the whitishness could be a mold... taste wise it will likely really suck, but I wouldn't worry about it... now if it was blackish, I would say toss it...
You think it could be mold? I reall ywish I could post a pic, since Ive never had weed go moldy on me. I grinded it up and now im drieing it. Maybe ill just pack a small bowl to taste and if its dirty as fuck ill toss it.
Without seeing it, it's not possible to say one way or another... my only point was that even if it was white mold, it won't kill you or make you ill (unless from the taste) whereas if it is a blackish mold it will make you sick and could possibly fuck your health.
Yeah I realise nobody can tell me if its safe, maybe I was just looking for someone to say it was alright or something. I think im just happy to have weed though Its just weird because it looks pretty dank but doesnt smell like much. The bag was completely sealed just sitting on the floor, so im thinking if theirs gunna be a mold issue it would have to be there before he threw it. Ill smoke and come back later.
A couple of weeks back, we ran out of smoke and a buddy gave me a bag of mostly shake with some bud (trimmings from plants), but he had left it in a plastic shopping bag for a couple of days before he got back up here and it had white mold over a lot of it. After hours of searching on the net, the best answer I came up with was the one I gave you... white type of molds in general won't cause any type of permanent damage, while black ones will. (and no that is not set in stone either way as far as I can tell). So we smoked it... tasted like total crap, had to smoke two fat joints to get anywhere close to a buzz, but it did keep my nerves settled til we got some real weed. To the best of my knowledge, it didn't cause any damage to our lungs (beyond the issue of inhaling smoke of course).
Alright, thats real good to hear. Ill check on the net for pics of white mold and decide for myself, though ill probably end up smoking it.
free weed is good weed.. i once found an 1/8th walking to my car in a parking lot at a restaurant i worked at.. score!
