This April I shall set out to the wild and vacant. I will find solitude in the most vast areas of nature. The deserts cry out to me to join them in peace. I feel the city spinning me into a never ending circle, wrought with repetition and boredom. Why is it I feel more alone, more abandoned in a city with millions of people, yet out of the city I found peace, friendship, love and solitude. I will take with me a plethora of essential gear and knowledge. The last thing I'm worried about is my ability to withstand the rigors of life out 'there' but instead I am taunted with thoughts of not living the way in which I want to. Freedom shall be mine. I will inhale the airs of beauty, the airs of nature, grasp the the roots of life, for mine will be a story remembered.

Nice fantasy, good luck escaping your own domestication. ;)

Try not get too caught up in delusions...

Go to the desert, quiet yourself, let it's power heal you...

Then come back and tell us all about it...:)

    ZW :peace:

I have honed my survival skills to the max. I have complete faith in my ability to survive, both on and off nature. I will not be caught up in any delusions, that I promise. For everyone that has went out in search of 'beauty' in nature forgot to master the skills nature requires to live in it. The ones that mastered the skills, forgot to appreciate the beauty that natures has to offer. I fall somewhere in between. My outdoor knowledge is immense, with my lifetime spent reading, practicing, and perfecting the skills. I know beauty only too well. Thank you for your reply.
