and i wanna use peroxide to lighten it a little..
i hear its bad for your hair though, like it'll turn orange or fall out or some shit like that...

but its not like i want a drastic change or anything.. maybe something like this..

hmmm i dont think youl get that colour with peroxide!! as you said, it will just go orange!!! go to the hair dressers and ask them what they suggest :)

but i'd keep awaaay from the peroxide, its not good!!

my sister uses it and her hair is in a bad way!!! :p

Can't you just get L'Oreal or something from the drug store? Sorry, dunno if you're in U.S. or not.. but if you are, just get a level permanent take-home dye kit from CVS or Target whatever. Permanent will "lift" your natural color while depositing the new color so even with black hair you should be able to achieve the dark brown you're looking for. Definitely don't use straight up peroxide though.

If not, then yeah, just go to the salon. good luck!

definately don't get peroxide!!! it will go orange.

id go to the hairdresser, they usually use good products although it can be pricey. i still think it's worth it though.

    ..it worked for my bro...

but then again he has really short hair, and he can just shave it off and it wont be a problem.

when it dried, it turned out that the top of my head was a little lighter.

im gonna try it again today for an hour.
so right now i put some at the bottom of my hair only. im gonna leave it fot 45 minutes, then i'll put more on the top in the last 15 minutes.

    i'll post results next time.

I've used peroxide to lighten up my hair once.
It didnt change the color one bit.
    It was dissapointing.
