This post is not meant to offend, Im just asking, Do any christians really watch this?? I just turned it on out of interest and I'm watching a couch full of people ranting. Apparently if you ring a certain high rate number, you can be saved? Man, I never realised that salvation was so cheap, a quick call, a credit card number, enternal happiness? I'm not religious but I assume that this sort of crap would offend those who are. Who makes this crap? I would like real answers, I'm just interested.
There was this guy... I forgot his name but he's on every night and he speaks about the Bible, gives cute stories, then uses the seed message in the Bible to try to get the viewers to send $1,000 - He calls it the "thousand dollar seed" then he urges his listeners: "Don't hesitate do it now... go to the phone now and God will take your 1k dollar seed and multiply it". Wolves in sheep's clothing comes to mind. Sometimes Jesus' name is used to gain profit of some kind. That's not the fault of Jesus. That's the fault of the people. One of the Pope's of the Catholic Church once said, "This Jesus fable sure is making us a lot of bling bling $_$"
One of my brothers are very religious and i know he watches that. I've watched it one time when I was super baked and the show was people calling in and donating THOUSANDS of dollars to the old man talking about god. He would speak for a moment then go "oh ho ho! Kristine from California has just donated $500! Thanks Kristine!"
