I am moving to arcata in may....I like to play guitar and sit on the beach a lot...Right now I am 6 hours south of windsor In Indianapolis...There's no beach here... I think i am allergic to reality without a beach nearby...
Can't help with Canada...but I'm headin out from Mississippi to Northern Cali in a month if there are any gas riders out there
tell me about it! i won't even go to the closest beaches here. one of them you can't even swim in because of the bacteria level of the water and last summer i found a syringe on the other one; that and the nuclear power plant is in clear sight while you're swimming.

I live in south eastern Wisconsin, Waukeshau. I've always had a trip to California in the back of my mind. Certain events in my life (winter and a break up) have definately made me ready for a change of pace. I could probably get some cool folks to come with and help with gas. Wisconsin is a shitty place, its not hard to find hippies longing for the west.
Longing for the west is right brother. Im probably gonna be buying a VW westy in the next week or two and am planning on heading out there right around High Sierra time. I would love to have some company. Oh ya, I'm from southern Minnesota.
