I remember the best ones I saw were a couple years ago, theres one where this weird kid takes a fat hit, and lays on his couch and jerks his whole body epically for a few minutes, and there was another one where these 15 year olds were watching over a kid that did it, and kept on going like "where am I" I looked for these again because I remember them, but I cannot find them. This one caught my attention though.

Agreed. these fucking looser kids are gonna end up getting this shit criminalized because they need a laugh. Fuck them and fuck their dried up sandbag mothers.

 

these people upset me as well. who the fuck cares what you look like on salvia...what do you feel like? cameras capture nothing, the focus is very skewed. i watched the first video and that guys freinds pissed me off. they arent freinds. "stop raping the chairs man."... "the cops are coming for you right now man!" why would anyone want to smoke with (or even be around) people who just want to laugh at them?
from the few salvia videos iv seen one thing that seems consistant is the trip sitters trying to control the flow of their freinds expirience...telling there where to go or not to go, or what to do, or they desprately try to engage from this reality... these people are in salvia space for shits sake! if you wanna communicate with a tripper you gotta speak to them from their level, which really just means, you gotta listen. and know that the tone beneath your words is going to resonate far more deeply than your actual words. questions like "are you okay? dude are you alright" might seem sincere, but what is really being communicated sounds more like "dude your not acting right, its freaking me out"

trip sitting is serious bussiness. its an artform of sorts. iv yet to see a salvia video where the persons journey was properly supported by their trip sitter.

 

Nicely said, I've never personally tried salvia nor do I plan to, but I don't know how people who do smoke it can even enjoy it when in pretty much all of the videos I see just consist of their 'friends' fucking with them and getting them all panicky and shit...

Sure it can a cheap quick laugh on your end and some of them can be 'funny' but that doesn't necessary make it right. How would you like if you were tripping on salvia and your friends were like "oh shit man they're coming for you!" "You better hide! don't let them get you!" and got you all panicky and scared, good luck enjoying that trip

 

I agree that these videos are gonna ruin salvia for peeps with the law. sorry if it didn't pluck your funny strings, but some things you should put aside for laughter. c'mon
I'm not laughing at the person. I'm laughing with them cuz i know how the feeling feels. When i trip on psyches, I myself don't wanna be left alone to "respect" the substance in me especially when it comes to salvia, it only lasts for a few minutes and effs you up good. And if I'm tripping, if someone tries to go along with the flow with what I'm doing or thinking, most of the time it doesn't work at all. If it were acid or shrooms, it'd be a different story involving people not trip-sitting good enough. If you wanna use it spiritually or for a serious reason, then fine, but a lot of people don't do serious-concerned drug taking with their friends. I find that the best thing for psychosis thinking is a mixture of your friends being normal and being understanding of what you're going through, and not to one extreme. Ya it's effed up saying "the police are coming for you!" but it obviously didn't even phase the guy. it's probably their humor and the guy didn't worry for a reason. chill out a bit

 

I think it would be funny as fuck if my friends did that too me. I would laugh so hard at myself watching the vid Salvia is a divine substance with amazing powers that should be taken seriously with all that being said.

 

I have nothing against people laughing with people tripping, but I think it's messed up and can mess up peoples trips when your friends are sitting there scaring the shit out of you.

Yah but acid and shrooms are already schedule 1 substances. I agree with you that trip-sitting is probably more important on acid and shrooms but at the same time posting this shit on youtube is not giving salvia a good perception. I use salvia pretty much by myself or if i have a sitter I tell them to be completely quiet until i'm done with the experience and I rarely talk or laugh or any of that shit. I'm sure there are many others who use it like me or even those who use it with their friends use it in a somewhat more 'serious' manner. I think it's sad such an amazing substance can be depicted in such a juvenile manner just because some kids are craving attention.

That being said, I did find the gardening and driving on salvia videos funny, but that guy at least put some imagination into his videos.

What's your theory on why a teenager or young adult would post their video of themselves tripping out on salvia? They aren't making any useful information or reports about the experience, half of them are barely making any coherent words.

 

I'm gonna agree with you here, I'm sure they just post it up to get the comments for what ever kind of sick ego boost they get from "haha what a dumbass on salvia" type comments... It's alll for the attention...
