I need some tips/advice on moving out. Im moving out when I get signed up for college, then after the summer or mid summer Im going. I found this 3bedroom, 2.5bath town house in a pretty remote area. They want 970 a month. I have to find 2 room mates which I know I have some in mind that would get along really well with me. What kind of questions should I ask them? Id really like your advice. Im open to anything. Bad moves..right moves whatever..
are utilities included? how much is the security deposit? do you do inspections and how often? is the lease breakable?
my gens for now. then go into medical. maybe ultrasound tech I remember the deposit being a little high but thats how every townhouse is around here. Ill write those questions down. Lease is important.
'have you ever been arrested for being naked and poking people in their sleep' 'do you have a problem with me burning copeus ammounts of herb' 'what size shoes do you wear' 'do you tend to leave the burners on' 'do you like to play country music till 4 am while drinking pabst mid term morning'
loll Something that I would ask, being in college, is what kind of sleep patterns they have. You would want someone who's up all night being rowdy when you have classes in the a.m.. Also make sure its someone you know is reliable and you can trust to make payments on time.
that's really the most important thing. you'd be really surprised at how many seemingly reasonable people think they just don't need to pay their bills.
Exactly, and most people wouldn't want the bad credit on their name for someone else's lack of responsibility, especially so young... Hence why the place Im moving into is a 1br/1ba for just me, so I only have to worry about myself paying bills on time.
i didn't want a dog until the realtor told me i couldn't have one. i bought one shortly after signing the lease.
Haha what a rebel!, that also brings up a good point to ask, see what kind pets they have... for allergy reasons and noise reasons maybe
Just make sure they're reliable and keep themselves/living area clean Stacy. My brother had problems with roommates that didn't pay their share of the rent, which ended up with them all getting kicked out.
