To the OP this sub-forum only accepts certain people as their own its like a clique except no one knows each other in real life and most probably suck.

If you want to get dreads like that your going to have to do backcomb + crochet. I admit they look a little fake but if thats the dreads you want thats the method you need. They look perfect almost right away, but they will need maintenance every few months to re-lock the new hair growth from the roots. Crocheting does damage the hair and can eventually lead to breakage if done excessively, but its the only way to get manicured dreads without using chemicals and other bullshit so i guess its better than other methods. Whatever you do dont use wax, try aloe vera, and try to limit maintenance because too much is never good. There are videos on youtube showing the process how to do it heres one for example.
