Celebrating a first birthday is a special occasion for any mother, but when it comes celebrating one year in the life of a McDonald's Happy Meal, alarm bells start ringing.
But one American mother on a mission to prove just how bad fast food can be for your health has done just that.

Nonna Joann, who writes a blog about picky eaters, bought the McDonald's meal for children a whole year ago, but despite being kept on a shelf in her office, the burger and fries have still not decomposed.
