"Think 25"

im 27 and get asked for id and have done for ages,its really annoying and I dont understand it as the age limit is 18.
Ive once walked out out tescos and left a wad of shopping at the till because I got id'd for a bottle of cheap wine,I even called the manager and told her what I thought.It was'nt like I was buying tons and tons of drink....it was a family shop worth about 60 quid.
once I got id'd at quiksave and told them I was 26 and when I told my mum later on she laughed and said but your 25!! I was like WOW I thought I was 26,it was great I just lost a whole year!!

 

This has become "Think 30" now. We so knew it

It's "think 21" here...but the majority of places don't ask me now. I must look old.

 

the reason for think 25 in britian is because when yous have a drink yous want to fight with the world. Lager louts come to mind

 

No. Too many people that look 18 that are not.

 

i'm always getting carded for smokes and alcohol. i don't mind it much, unless i forgot my ID, then i'm annoyed and say "FUCKIN' REALLY?! I'M 34!"

 

I get asked sometimes by the checkout staff. It's a complete load of bollocks. I tell them I am 18 sometimes LOL

 

Since moving to liverpool 6 months ago, i've been ID'd once, but managed it 3 times over christmas back up in edinburgh. They're proper lax here
