Your posts show complete and total ignorance of Eastern religious traditions that have no concept of a higher power. Maybe you don't know any better. I grew up being told that Buddhists worship Buddha and consider him to be God. Nothing could be further from the truth. A child only knows what he or she has been told, but an adult has no excuse for acting as if there are only two or three monotheistic religions and philosophies in the world. There is more than one Eastern worldview that does not place a high value on having faith in things that cannot be verified, or believing in invisible powers.

As I have said before, my problem with Jesus comes down to a serious problem with the accuracy and reliability of the Bible, which has been fucked with by hundreds if not thousands of uneducated, superstitious people, all trying to "fix" the book by making it better conform to their group's beliefs. And we have no way of knowing that the original versions were anything more than the views of their human authors. Everything that we "know" about Jesus comes from that book.

  3. Back to the original intent of this post: Fuck Jesus

Christians can keep him and keep jacking off. Keep reading parables and think you're garnering some esoteric knowledge. I can't wait 'til the day when I don't have to hear his name ever again. Though usually it's someone taking "his name in vain". This guy...isn't ever coming here to judge me. When I die, I'd rather go to hell than live in fear of him.

If you're a spiritual person, he'll give you a fucking complex. You're not allowed to be a completely spiritual person in the USA. Well, without feeling like your life is threatened. And it's a spiritual world. Basically you're required to be a chickenshit.

I meant no offense to others, I personally do not believe that Jesus is my savior either.
I was simply stating that we could all go about it in apeaceful manner, I was in NO WAY trying to discredit your beliefs.

    @neospectraltoast-

I agree, but it isn't Jesus's fault, haha.
In my opinion he probably shared alot of the hippie philosdphys if you choose to believe the bible.
In Ghandis words,Oh, I don't reject your Christ. I love your Christ. It's just that so many of you Christians are so unlike your Christ!

    Peace

Accepting other religions is a standard part of Hinduism.

I never did like the sound of that name. You probably know that it isn't the name that he actually answered to, but the closest Greek name, substituted by Greek translators of the New Testament. His Hebrew name was pronounced something similar to Yeshua. Jews living during his lifetime wouldn't have been familiar with any other name for him.

I know that. Ghandi was an awesome dude no matter what and I think we can all learn a little from him.

There is so much to be learned from so many sources. One of the worst principles of christianity is the directive to ignore all nonchristian sources of wisdom and spiritual truth.

See, if this was true, it wouldn't bother me nearly as much as what I take to be the truth over it.

The catacombs of the vatican, and of various christian churches scattered around the world are filled with lost artifacts from the religions they haven't ignored, but instead destroyed and stole everything that they had, usually in the process of killing anyone who beleived them.

All while preaching peace, love and acceptance of others.

Hehe, so true. If they only ignored in the past instead of destroying and assimilating I had a much easier time respecting christianity (now I just tolerate it :()

Jesus is fucked in the ass enough, by his own so called followers.

Imagine the anarchy if the people who can't think for themselves didn't had their religion to keep them in line.

My dad tried telling me yesterday that jesus (christ) had ships with bronze cannons. It was in the bible he said. Check it out if you like that fiction mystery mumbo jumbo. I don't.

The bible is a great book. See it as historical fiction. Although not so much fiction that it says anything about cannons in 30 a.d. Perhaps your dad is confusing that part with another book :D

Nazi Germany is the first thing that comes to mind.

 Is it supposed to be close to the section that says the masters of female slaves should only set them free if they get tired of fucking them? No, wait, that's Exodus 21 or 22.
