I was having anal sex with my boyfriend the other day (much to my dismay), and after we were done, I had this giant hemorrhoid in my ass. It was huge and pink and my ass was bleeding. How can I prevent this? Does anyone know?! Maybe there was not enough lube, because the next morning, we went to CVS to buy his and her lube (which is really good). Do you think I should just try it again next time with this new lube? I say to my "dismay" because once we had anal sex before and it HURT. I guess not enough lube then either, huh. Well anyway, anyone know how to prevent anal hemorrhoids during anal sex? I've actually come to like anal sex.
It sounds more likde a foreplay/relaxation issue than a lube issue. My Fiancee and I do anal almost exclusively. Sometimes without lube and never have this problem. The secrets I've found are first lots of foreplay (And I mean lots). Start by showering together and washing each other down have him wash and rub around your anus with a finger to kind of tease also the hot water will help you relax. After you're done go to bed and start your standard foreplay. When your are good and warmed up as usual, have him give you a slow sensual rim job this will get your anus used to having something around there. When he moves on to his finger this is when you start to lube up tell him to use the pad of his finger not the tip to enter this is the technique a doctor uses when he examines you. Make sure he takes his time once he can comfortably fit one finger then tell him to add another as he is doing this he should be adding lube. I cannot stress this enough COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY. Now unless your boyfriend is a pornstar if he can get 2 fingers comfortably in you should be ready for his penis he should lube up his penis too before he enters you. Also masturbating while he does this will also help. I also highly recomend Tristan Taormino's "Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women." I haven't read the book but my fiancee and I have watched the DVD a million times. I hope this helps. Peace Out, Rev J
Also what I described from Shower to insertion should take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. This might be TMI but with enough foreplay I can fit my hand up to the first knuckle of my thumb up my fiancee's ass. Some other hints. Insertion should really take from about 3 to 5 minutes and remember to breathe deeply while all of this is happening as it will keep you relaxed. I also recomment a slight buzz like a glass or 2 of wine and a couple of tokes not enough toget you totally fucked up but just enough to feel. Also try pushing out like you're going to the bathroom while he is pushing in that will help stretch you out to accomodate him. I honestly believe the reason that most women only have anal sex once is because the man they are having anal sex with doesn't know what he is doing. Also check out www.puckerup.com. I honestly believe that this is one of the best info sites for people interested in anal sex. It may also help if you scream out "Reverand J you are the greatest," while you are cumming (Just Kidding). But if you want any more tips just PM me. Peace Out, Rev J
Don't have anal sex any more I guess. Unless you really want to. The hemorrhoid sounds unpleasant though. God gave you a vagina! Use it.
His and Hers is a good quality lube, but it's a little thin and watery (similar to Astroglide). You might want something a little thicker. Against all advice, my wife and I were very fond of Nutrogena Cocoa Butter lotion. It's very thick and slippery, and she always said the lotion helped instead of hurting. (Your mileage may vary.) I've heard really good things about Pjur products.(They have several different product lines.) I plan on trying them one of these days. Have fun! Anal sex shouldn't be a pain in the ass!
Touche (pun intended). If you're not using protection I've found Olive Oil works great. It stays slippery, is non toxic and good for the skin. It does destroy condoms though. You also probably want to use sheets you don't care about sinse it does leave stains. Peace Out, Rev J
Hemorrhoids are not usually caused by anal sex. It's usually caused by a diet low in fiber. If you have to push hard when you do number 2 as a result of low fiber this can cause hemorrhoids. I'd suggest ramping up the healthy fiber rich foods like: vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds and whole grains. For the veggies I'd avoid iceberg lettuce since is reletively low in fiber and can actually slow down digestive motility. You can also do kegal exercies. In india kegals are called mula bandha it's a technique for strengthening the pelvic floor, anus, and vagina. This may help to cure your hemorrhoids if they are a repeat issue. As for the lube, I agree with Cool Side, I prefer oil based lotion for anal. I think it is not only reduces friction but it helps to make the skin of your anus more supple for stretching. Think of making a huge smile with chapped lips. It hurts and you get cracks in your lips (possibly even bleeding), use some chap stick and you can smile all you want. I have used silicone, water based and oil based for anal, I and my partner found oil based to work the best. Cocoa butter or shea butter is great.
Thank you all for such great advice! I have read every one of your replies...my boyfriend and I have used cold press olive oil for vaginal sex, and it's wonderful for that. I brought up using it for anal sex and for whatever reason he didn't want to...he said anal lube was better :/ I told him I'd rather use oil but he said no. Maybe I'll convince him with the info I've learned here. And that comment about anal sex not being a pain in the ass...lulz.
Do not use Anal Eze. I repeat do not use Anal Eze. It contains a numbing agent. That is the last thing that you want because pain is your body's way of telling you something is wrong. I realize I suggested getting a little high and a little drunk but only a little you still want to be able to feel back there in case your boyfriend does something stupid (it happens). But getting a little buzzed makes you less of a tight ass (both literally and figureatively). Peace Out, Rev J
This happened to me a few times.. It took a few days for my butt to heal I think it has to do with how he put it in..
Sounds like you're making it work! Everyone is different... my wife didnt have any trouble even the first time we did it. Shes got an elastic butthole I guess.
