I am thinking of going to Northen Ontario this summer to go treeplanting. Wondering if anyone has done this and can give me their advice on which companies I should check out and tell me about their experince and how physically and mentally demanding it is. Thanks!

Treeplanting can be demanding work. Working for a gov planting operation can be much more demanding than working for say a christmas tree farmer. The gov specs are pretty stringent in how deep it's planted, what angle it is planted at, how many fall within a certain radius etc... it's all for a good reason but it can be demanding physically for sure. Mentally I guess is up to the individual.
