so I was sitting here and the light looked really neat on my hair and kind of makes it look osum, so i made a video.

They are like the perfect size!!!

they look kinda stiff and not free moving....are they?

 

they are tight, but not stiff by any means really.

 

they are coming along very nicely!!

how long have you had that orange wrap on that dread?

hey guys... coming up on a year here in.... 2 weeks.. but here is a little sneaky peek. I noticed recently how much length i've gained since I started, so i thought i'd do a comparison. the first pic is at 3 1/2 months and the other one is from last night.. just a couple weeks short of a year.

they are gorgeous and they have grown a lot happy early one year

 

yeah i dunno why they aren't shrinking.. I think it must be the method i used to start? crocheting was a dumb idea I think and maybe it was way too tight in the beginning. the tips have all been the same pretty much since the beginning and for the most part, show no sign of wanting to dread up. you can't see it in the picture above, but they are only loopy at the base of the dread, except for a few of the smaller dreads, which are still a bit silly and loopy

Yep I am at almost 9 months and the tips of my front dreads just don't want to dread at all. So I am trying an experiment with bands. lol It worked for my friend so I am giving it a whirl.

 

they're WAY longer! nice. mine seem to be shrinking and growing and shrinking at random.

what does the tattoo mean?

 

They look awesome. My ends are the same in not wanting to dread. They're still silky and smooth.
