Peanut butter and banana sandwich is awesomeness between two bits of bread.

Today though, a crisp sandwich sounds nice. I think just one with ready salted.

I've heard the Duke of Earl really liked sammiches.

Do Philly cheesesteaks and hoagies count?

I had my pb&j on whole wheat....love 'em!!!!

    What did you think?
I'd seen a recipe (and i use that term a bit loosely as it's not hard to make) once for peanut butter on bread, with jam on top, then shredded low fat mozz added, and put under a grill to toast. I must admit, I tried it once, and was rather impressed at how nice it was.

Fingermouse, I thought you were vegan? Was it 'not' cheese and jam? Or have you gone to the dark side and started using dairy products?

Well I'm lactose intolerant and for a long time I was vegan (about 4 years I think) I introduced eggs again last year and just recently I've replaced the "not cheese" with Lactofree, which is cows cheese but with the lactose removed by some magical process. I still have non dairy milk though. I really dislike animal milk. Milk should be sweet.

Not tried the sandwich yet, but it's only a matter of time before I have to give in :willy_nilly: Lithium really enjoys them. We'll see. Peanut butter added in aswell? Argh! What next, eggs!?

Thanks for explaining. I was mildly confused. Though, that being said, that is a state I tend to stay in a lot.

I'm not sure eggs would go well with peanut butter, jelly, and cheese.
However ... eggs and cheese are fab together!
