I've read a lot of Gaiman's work (still need to get to a few, including American Gods), and I love his style..but Stardust has stood out in my mind for a long time. It's definitely one of my favorite fantasy novels ever...right up there with Lud-In-The-Mist by Hope Mirrlees. It's a light read..but really great. Any other fans of Stardust (or Neil Gaiman) as well?
LOVE NEIL GAIMAN!!! EEE!!! His graphic novels are far more epic than his novels though http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sandman_(Vertigo)
The only Neil Gaiman work I've ever read is Stardust, when I was twelve, and I loved it. I still do, and I've been meaning to read some of his other novels, too. The movie dous not do it any sort of justice.
Stardust was mega cute. The fallen star child was my favourite character. She was just so seemingly adorable.
Haven't heard of that one. I've read American Gods, Stardust, Anansi brothers, Good Omens and Neverwhere + one of the short stories, smoke and mirrors? Maybe.
I love Neil Gaiman! Stardust is beautiful, but my favorites are American Gods, Coraline and Neverwhere. Also, his short story collections are amazing.
