I've been on birth control for over 4 years now and when I first started having sex, I never did it for very long or in very exciting positions, so I never ran into this issue. Lately my partners have been lasting much much longer and we go at it pretty rough, for multiple rounds, and for a long time in general. I've noticed that I have a hard time staying wet the whole time, especially with a condom. Saliva is almost always necessary to make it function, and sometimes if it really hurts, I gotta stop and use lube. But what really bothers me is that the skin around the bottom of my vagina (I think it's called the fourchette) and my perineum almost always get these tiny micro-tears from prolonged sex and it really freakin hurts towards the end of the session. It stings like a bitch. There's no way I could have sex two days in a row without pain. I read online that birth control is a cause of this because a) it makes you drier b) it makes the skin down there thinner (and thus more easily torn). I have absolutely no problem getting or staying aroused (believe me, I'm always horny!) but staying wet is kind of an issue. Does anyone else have this issue? Should I bring it up to my gyno? It pisses me off when I want to have sex for hours and then halfway through I have to maneuver around the pain.
Are you really fair or blonde? I have a few friends who are very fair and occasionally find sex painful and they even sometimes bleed. I have an issue staying wet too and I am on birth control. Glad I am not the only one out there with this problem! I always seem to be horny too so I didn't know what the hell was wrong with me! I didn't know about the birth control so thanks for sharing! My Oma told me that Black Cohosh is not only good for helping with certain period symptoms but for vaginal dryness as well. I tried taking it regularly but I have an anemia deficiency (Black Cohosh is a blood thinner as well) and it caused me to bruise more easily then I already do. You might want to try it though or search for other natural herbal ways to help. I hate lube so I am looking for something more natural. I always feel bad when I dry up and usually just bite down on my lips or clench my teeth to keep the pain out of my mind so the guy I am seeing can finish. I feel terrible making him stop because I hurt.
Eep, you shouldn't do that! I know getting lube is annoying but water-based ones aren't too bad. You shouldn't endure any pain
so i totally thought you meant like taking rips off a bong at first... but it can be a pain to have to constantly grab the lube, but its worth it to not be in pain from having sex...if youre going to do it you should at least enjoy it.
@Narcolepsy(since I forgot to use the quote thingy)-It isn't the worst pain ever and I have not torn or bled yet. I have a water based lube but I feel like almost less of a woman for having to use lube because I can't stay wet long enough. When the issue first arose I kept blaming him (inside my head) for going for what seems like ages and telling myself it is because he takes so long that I was drying up. Trying to deny my issue. lol. However, when I don't have the issue (dryness isn't always a problem) I am praising him (again-usually just in my head) for going so long! haha. Dangit...thinking about the last bit makes me want him right now! Why can't people yet! gah! teehee
Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Use the lube, lots of ppl use it, some just for extra lube. But fucking should be fun, comfortable and free of pain unless you like pain (back clawing is all I can take). My first experience with lube was when I was going with an older woman who was menopausal. I was young, didn't know anything about it but she brought a tube of KY jelly (yeah they had that in '68) Loved the way she smeared it on my cock.
That happens to me sometimes too. Mine is because of natural hormonal imbalances, but birth control can cause all kinds of unpleasant side effects.
I have the same problem, but I am not on BC. And it didn't start till after I had kids. I just use lube, and I prefer anal so lube is a neccesity It gets worse when I am dehydrated, maybe try drinking a lot more water.
I used to get those tiny rips too all of the time...and then I would take a break from sex hoping that they would heal and not come back but they did...they are very painful and it wouldn't matter how wet I was I would still get them...I'm on birth control too
I get them too. Usually when the guy pulls out for a minute, I immediately get dry and they go in and hurt my bottom part. Im on the pill too, and didnt have this until I Got on the pill. I should get off it for a while and see if theres a difference. try to go slowly in, if you dry up and get wet again, or use lube but still take it easy cause it can hurt after with the lube
