after that you should be able to embed in the quick reply by posting the regular url like Boog said....post this type of address and the forum will convert it automatically

I think the inline embedding of media is a "big user" function like one of the things we get after a month membership and 100 posts.

That option does not appear to be available to me.

 

Try it a few times. "Preview post" twice to cycle the computer's formats. Once I couldn't even see the movie box in my preview but it showed up after I posted. Just link your funny movies until you get the hang of it.

no amount of clicking preview post will cause an "Automatically embed media" checkbox to appear anywhere in my submit form.

dont click "preview post"...the checkbox is in the miscellaneous options listed below a "post reply" box..try clicking the "post reply" I posted earlier and look below the reply box under the "submit reply" button.
