The only way is for you to quit for about a month and then if you go back to your regular habits it will come back real fast.

If you want to PERMANENTLY lower your tolerance you need to take multiple months off, to the point where you can't even remember what it felt like to be high. And then once you do smoke you can't smoke more than once a week really as if you do you will slowly start to notice your tolerance build back up

Not smoking for 4 days will lower your tolerance, but only for one time. Sure that one time will be more intense, but then you're back to square one again with your tolerance problem.

Yeah the only way I know of is to take a break. I took a week of not too long ago and noticed a difference. Didn't take but 3-4 days and I was back to 'normal' tolerance. I remember reading something a long time ago about lasting effects, unfortunately I don't remember all of it. Something along the lines of thc staying in your system, and I don't mean ina detectable way, 4 like months(forgive me because where it stayed for 4 months I forgot) and then the chemical compound was prevalent in your brain for 9 months.

Basically what I gathered from it was if you want to start with a clean slate so to speak, take a break for 9 months. Now that I think about it some more, I want to say the 4 months was how long it was psychologically in your system, like the "addiction". I only use addiction for lack of a better term. Don't quote me on all this though, just the best my stoner memory can provide for ya.

Yeah it would be best to take a month or two off from smoking to lower your tolerance a lot.

Still, if you stop smoking for a week, it'll noticably lower your tolerance. Just not as much as a longer break would.

or just smoke once every few days. your tolerance will go down in time and you won't be putting yourself through the ordeal of not smoking for weeks at a time
