LED Christmas lights

weird idea i had but in addition to the CFL's im growing under right now, would it be beneficial to put up some string lights?

they are LED's and are decently bright, i was thinking that it would help if i ran the string around the grow room to increase overall light exposure.
do you think it would help?

 

Depends on the light spectrum they emit. Since there probably not mark or rated your have to try them and see me thinks.

Give it a shot. Christmas lights are low power but you could just get a string of red and another of blue. It is worth an experiment.

 

White and Blue might be good for veg and then red and white for flowering. If it works at all. That would be a trippy grow room.

 

it probably wont do squat.
