I was thinking about getting a bead or two and/or a wrap or two for some of my locks that are further along then the others. I am just wondering if I get those underway if they will interfere with the locking process at all?!

just dont go too crazy with it i guess. be careful though. if a bead is on a little bit of a loose dread, you can lose it pretty easily.

I put some wraps on early doors and they ended up creating a sharp transition in the width of the dread, so personally I would recommend them on immature dreads.

Maybe this might make a difference, I'm growing neglect dreads. Most of my dreads are starting to form at the back and some of them in my opinion are mature enough to sustain a bead or a wrap. About 35-40% of my hair has started to section and knot up so far... so would those items just look silly on a head such as that?

I'd say that would be up to you man. Put some wraps in and check em out. If you like em and someone says they look silly, make a fist and quickly straighten out that middle finger.
