Did you know that you or your children could die from vaccines??

My daughter is being homeschooled and does not recieve vaccinations. At 3 she is well-adjusted, intelligent, and healthy. Studies show that children who are vaccinated are over 25 times MORE LIKELY to develop autism and/or diabetes.

I don't know how many of you have children, but before you get them vaccinated, read this...

Yep there was just a thing on the news about some still have mercury in the shots themselfs. Even though the goverment advises not to.

 

My parents signed a vaccine waiver before I entered kindergarten, so I've never had one. I'm perfectly healthy. The flu vaccine's a joke. There are thousands of strains of the virus and the vaccine only protects you from one of them. I know people who have only gotten the flu after getting the vaccine.

 

i got all my daughter her shots before i knew about all this crap and sometimes i wonder because she is really behind in school.

my son though who is three hasnt had his shots and we'll see what happens there.

 

When you look at the instances of how many illnesses grow out of supposed cures it's horrifying. I never did see the sense in "strengthening your immune system" with injecting a virus rather than eating healthy foods rich in vitamins and nutrients. There's a reason ancient people lived very very long lives without smallpox and AIDS.

Besides, what most people wouldn't do to other people for he almighty buck. Eugh!

The only thing I want to add to this thread is that the theory that immunizations such as the MMR (Mumps, Measles, Rubella) vaccine can cause forms of PDD like autism has actually been thrown out by the medical community. Research done in North American and Europe in the last 3-5 years shows no connection between Pervasive Development Disorders (Autism, Asperger's, etc) whatsoever. But I have heard about people having allergic-type reactions to vaccines and dying... yikes.

I got my flu shot, because I have to. I work in a development centre with kids with various types of special needs. If you're a carrier of something like the flu, and you bring it into a centre where there are kids with (for example) Cerebral Palsy, and they pick it up, they can most definitely end up in the hospital. So it's policy for the centre... staff, volunteers, parents, and the kids (unless the kid's special need is somehow related to vaccines) everyone must get their shots, including the flu shot.

 

what pisses me off is the chicken pox vaccination. one of side effects is brain damage. now i have had chicken pox and they are uncomfy but not worth risking my kids brain. all life is full of discomfort sheesh

 

The virus is dead. It strengthens the immune system by the dead virus injected into your body. Your body attacks the dead virus as if it was alive. That inturn makes your immune system stronger. What I dont understand is you get all these shots when your little... How the hell does it stay in your body your hole life. What about the polo shot, Id rather be alittle dumber than not have my legs.

The government is not trying to kill your children. That statement is fear-mongering and rediculous. Even with the theory that the government only cares about money, it still wouldn't make sense for the government to kill your children--the less children, the less future taxpayers. The vast majority of children do not have any problems after the vaccine, although yes, some do have allergic reactions. As a parent, it is up to you to decide if you want to have your kids vaccinated, but don't pretend that you are a better mother than people who do get it.

In case you don't understand how a vaccine works, the virus/bacteria they inject you with comes in one of four forms:

1) Dead
2) Attenuated (weakened)
3) Part of the organism (such as the flagella of a bacterium)
4) A similar organism to the pathogenic one (although this one is seldom used because the immune system is so specific)

Now, once you have this in your system, your body makes antibodies (a protein made by the body in response to the stimulous of an antigen--the antigen in this case being the injected dead/weakened virus/bacterium) that attack the pathogen. In addition to attacking the antigen, the antibodies also have a memory system that inables them to remember that specific organism, so that if the body should ever encounter it again, it would know exactly what to do.

The entire reasoning behind requiring vaccines was that at one point, these disease WERE prevallent in the US to the point where it was a public health hazard. There was even a polio epidemic in the US as recently as the 1940s and 50s. While some of these illnesses may not be common in the US anymore, they are still prevelant in the developing world. Children in these areas are in desperate need of vaccines because their chances of getting sick from the disease outweigh their chances of getting sick from the vaccine. It is a sick crime against humanity not to provide these children with the vaccines they need.

The virus does not stay in your system for life. It is the memory of the virus stored in your antibodies that remains after the virus has been destroyed. Depending on the virus/bacteria, your antigens can sometimes remember them for life, and sometimes they require a "booster" every so-many years. Why they give you the vaccines when they do has to do with how your immune system develops (i.e. infants 0-6 months do not have a fully developed immune system, so they may be more susceptible to certain diseases).

Oh, and btw, your legs do not fall off when you get polio (not polo). It weakens your muscles and causes nerve damage, which can cripple you, but your body remains intact.

One other note--

I personally find the Chicken Pox vaccine unnecessary (unless you have a weakened immune system)--you have to continue to get boosters for it your whole life, and if you get it as an adult its MUCH WORSE that what it would be if you got it as a kid. Plus, if you do get chicken pox, you're naturally immune for life. I personally don't see the point in the flu shot either, unless it's for babies under 2 years in certain conditions, or for the elderly.

Aborted human fetus cells? I need CREDIBLE sources, please. And what do you suggest instead--we let the kids in 3rd world countries DIE because there is a slight chance of an allergic reaction?

And of course you don't drink vaccines, genius--THEY'RE NOT EDIBLE! It is designed to go directly into your bloodstream because that is where antibodies are found!

 

yes I knew that. I almost died as a small child from cow pox ( that is what they actually give you when innoculating for small pox). and?

 

Whoever gave me a bad rep for this thread, would you mind telling me why? I didn't think I said anything overly offensive... and at least sign your name... don't be shy, I don't bite.

 

Actually they are making it optional here in my city to have your children vaccinated before putting them in school because there is so much concern over side effects and complications. When I was growing up it was mandatory. If you didn't have yuor shots you were kicked out of school.

My point is that nowadays it's not the benefit to humans that most medical establishments care about, but the benefit to their wallets. It is scarce the doctor that wants to keep patients OUT of the hospital.

My sister had post-partum bleeding for 6 MONTHS and the doctors prescribed her all kids of things. First it was antibiotics, then estrogen, now all of a sudden they decided it is progesterone she needs....and the same with her daughter who has breathing problems. Instead of checking to see if she may be asthmatic (like her sister) they put her on a strict regimen of breathing treatments that have her sucking down chemicals and she's been doing it for the last 4 years....now all of a sudden she just needs a little extra oxygen when she gets upset.
Also, when I was a teenager I was put on effexor for depression and almost died because it slowed down my heartbeat to a dangerously slow pace.

The point is that no one cares about the side effects, if they did, hudreds of thousands of people wouldn't die every year taking perscription drugs that could very well kill them.

Vaccines are dangerous and my daughter will not be having them. I don't believe everything I read, but I do believe that blindly medicating our children and loading them up with shots and chemicals just because a doctor says you should is very irresponsible.

There are so many paranoid anti-govt. conspiracy theorists around now it's hard to know what to believe, the "evil" govt. or the paranoid.

 

more people die showering each year than from innoculations.

 

That's why I only shower twice a year.
