Don't ever buy Coruba Rum. By far the worst rum I have ever tasted. It wasn't very cheap either, about $20 for a big bottle. Dirt cheap Castillo is better than this stuff. On a lighter note, I just discovered Sailor Jerry's rum. This stuff is amazing. Stronger than most liquor (92 proof I think) but soooo smooth. I can drink it like water. Does anyone have any recommendations for some good spiced rum? (aside from Capt. Morgan) What's your favorite brand of rum? :cheers2:
rum makes me dumb. My mom is a huge fan of it though, her favorite brand's name eludes me at the moment but it's 8.99 for a bottle big enough to get 4 people pretty trashed. It's horrible and I can't drink it without gagging. Personally I prefer Malibu rum because I am a pussy. And of course, the Captain. aye aye.
i found out what it's called. port royal rum, from the west indies. $8.99 for a liter and it is quite good with lemonade, if a bit stout.
