About 2 weeks ago, me and 3 friends were planning on smoking in a park after dark. But, one of us wanted to go smoke at a nearby catholic school because it was closer to his house. So, we proceeded to smoke a couple bots each and a couple bong bowls. Upon leaving, we were literally 10 feet away from the sidewalk, when a cop pulls in. This cop acts all legitimate and nice and asks us why we were there. We told him that we were having a smoke (we still had smokes in our hands from the bot session). He also told us we weren't in any trouble as long as we didn't lie about our names. We gave him our real names, but what the sneaky bastard does instead of checking them is call an other cop. This cop arrives and immidiately says we're trespassing and he's going to search. So he finds my expensive bong and 14 grams of hash, as well as one of my friend's 2 grams of pot. He let the other 2 friends who had nothing go, and booked me and the other friend with the pot. They doubted that my leg was screwed up (I have a leg brace and a cane for a fucking reason, geeze) and they were rather rude about it. Today, I attended court which was pretty breif and I got charitable donation as a punishment with no criminal charges. Upon getting a copy of the police report, I noticed that the cop did a little more truth bending than just saying that we weren't in trouble... 1. The report said: I arrived at the school to find 4 youths huddled together under the light, exchanging suspicious packages. They then attempted to avoid me by walking away. This is a lie, it never happened! The cop arrived to us leaving and we were almost at the sidewalk (nowhere near the light). We also made no attempt to evade him. 2. The report said: It was very dark there, and only the area underneith the light could be seen. This is also a lie, it was a well-lit area. 3. The report said: I became suspicious of (My Name Here) because he was pacing back and forth upon my arrival. Lie lie lie, I can't pace back and forth, my leg is too screwed up! I wasn't doing any action that even resembled pacing then entire time. 4. It quoted the friend who got caught with the 2 grams, saying he said this when asked what we were doing there: "Just having a couple tokes." All 4 of us agree that all we said was "having a smoke", not using the word "toke", we said nothing about drugs until we actually got caught with them. 5. It said the total ammount of hashish I had was 31 grams... They are either even bigger liars, or their scale is broken, because I weighed that 14 grams out myself! I am glad that I got no real criminal charges, and these untruthful bastards didn't get their satisfaction! Thanks for reading!
wow, that's fucked up they lied like that. good thing you barely got in trouble for it. did you mention in court that their report was a total lie? not that it matters now that you didnt really get a charge, but it's good to at least contest that crap. and never believe that a cop is bring friendly or nice. better to assume they're going to fuck you over no matter what than to trust 'em. at least in the US, they can lie to you but you can't lie to them. fockers. what's the deal in Ontario? by the way, what's a "bot" and a "bot session?" i've never heard of this before, just thought it was a typo...
I have no idea, I didn't know they lied about stuff like that. Well, actually a friend of mine got punched in the face by one while he was drunk and in handcuffs and the cop never mentioned that in the police report, but that's the only thing I've seen until now. Oh, we just call bottle tokes "bots" for short.
Yeah, the cops in my town are pretty much stuck here, desperately trying to get promoted because it's very boring here. They are even making illegal busts now to try and meet their quota. My friend got stopped by the same cop not too long ago when he was walking home from my house at 2 in the morning. The cop tried to take advantage of him by saying that he wasn't allowed outside at that hour because he wasn't 18. I've read the laws about curfews around here, and there isn't one. They try that trick to get underaged people in the police car all the time around here, because they have nothing better to do. My friend, knowing about this, said that he was on his street and was going home because there isn't a curfew law... That didn't stop this cop, he grabbed my friend, threw him to the ground and put handcuffs on him. He then proceeded to smash his $80 bong and take his weed. The cop accused him of being in posession of lorzepam illegally, even though his name's on the bottle. He then called for backup after this, and told the cops he started running away as soon as he saw him (bullshit)! When they took him home just down the street, he told his mom they threw him on the ground, and the cop said he was bullshitting. The cop also made him go to the hospital because he took lorzepam (the dose on the bottle). It's funny how the cop backed off completely and never persued charges or anything once his mom showed signs that she thought something fishy was going on. That cops really needs to smarten up, get demoted, or get fired entirely.
One new years eve, I was jumping between parties a couple of blocks apart, and a couple of minutes after midnight I headed to the other party and stupidly jumped in my car. I didn't let it warm up and clear the windshield, just scrapped a patch to see from and headed off. I came up to an intersection where (going by memory) the other way had a stop sign and I didn't. I could see this car sitting at the intersection like they were waiting for me to go (I thought) so I pulled through and into my driveway. I just shut the car off when the door flew open and four hands reached in and dragged me out of the car. The intersection was the other way, I had the stop sign, the other car didn't, and it happened to be a cop. So, I blew a stop sign and cut a cop off while drinking and driving... I go to court knowing I've lost. Not a doubt in my mind, after all I was drunk, I failed to stop, and I cut a cop off... Needless to say I did lose... lost my lisense for a year. But what pissed me off (and the point of this), is that even though the cops had a perfectly good TRUE story that would get me convicted, they lied. They said they had followed me down a street for 4 or 5 blocks and I was weaving all over the place and demonstrating a lack of control over my vehicle. When the judge asked if I agreed with the facts, I said no. I told him what happened and said, In no way do I disagree that I fucked up, I did, 100%. But whats with the cops lying. The judge looked at me and said, we're you drinking and driving? I said yeah, he said, Guilty.... Truth in no way matters in a court of law.
Yeah, I hate how the cops try and make themselves look like detective material on police reports by writing they noticed bogus details about what you were doing.
thye lied on my police report as well. I got caught with a 14" roor bong, brand new and a mini zong. Me and my 17 y/o friend just got done smoking the last of our weed and all I had was a little ass nug for a snapper bowl. They took my water pipes as evidence and the weed also. (I'm sure they probably kept the pieces) and said I was carrying 5 grams of weed. OH YEA! luckily I got a cool DA and made a deal. She dropped the marijuana and paraphernalia charges and kept the charge for contributing to the deliquency of a minor. (supposedly I'm suppose to be acting as an adult for a kid who was only 1 year younger than me.) I was 18 and he was 17 awesome laws we have EY! I also couldn't see the police report until after I had been charged by judge in court. I found out why afterwards. They lied about everything!
I feel for ya dude,I got busted a while back in illinois.On my way home from work,passenger in the vehichle drinkin a beer.I tell the pig"ok,I know this is $75"(I had an open container charge there before).They search the driver,then me.he finds one of the little smokeless pipes in my pocket,& a cellophane with residue in it.I got charged with possession,possession of paraphanelia,& 2 open container charges(1 for my can,1 for the box).had to plea guilty for the paraphanelia charge to drop the rest.Fuckin pig made fun of my beer(PBR),then the fuckin **** judge made fun of my southern accent.& I'm still on probation,costed me almost 2 grand.I love smokin pot,but I just gave it up.worst part is,back in the day,I would've had a pocketful of bags ready to sell,then they bust me with piddly ass bullshit
Dude, same story in my town, it's a town of 1200 people and there's like 6 cops all trying to be the next super cop, all they do is bust skateboarders and pot heads. They just arrested a man who was smoking weed for his cancer, he's got 2 weeks to fuckin live and they took him out of the care center to the fucking cop shop. They've also recently strip searched respectable people in my town including a lady in her late 50's who is one of the sweetest ladies I know. Why would she be hiding pot on her body on her way home? i don't get it! it makes me very sad. They busted all the dealers in town "trying to cut down on dealing" the dealers they busted were older guys that lived at home and just dealed pot. Now there's a shitload of 16 and 17 year old kids running around selling pot now, doesn't seem like that strategy is working. I've seen friends start selling pot when the dealers got busted and they couldn't make enough money because so many people were dealing, so they started selling E. I know they wouldn't have even started selling if the normal pot guy didn't get shut down.
Dude! In my town, all the good dealers seemed to disappear too! I'm pretty sure it was this operation that they did at some point where they could just roll up on suspected drug dealers and bust them without a warrent! This is obviously not allowed anymore, but it really damaged the quality and the price of weed here. You have to know the right people to get acceptable pot at good prices, it's rediculous.
