I recently acquired some clonazepam, and I am not really a pill popper so I wanna get some info before I down a few.

I got some of the 2 mg doses.

As a newbie, what would be the best dosage for me?

    What are the effects?

    Any after effects?

it's literally the god of all drugs for me. don't do more than a couple first time unless you like coming to thinking "oh fuck what did i just do".

    best benzo in the world

after affects when abused is losing your freedom. be sensible with it and you will just be a bit groggy tomorrow

    no alcohol

    seriously, it isn't worth it

    2-4mg will be decent.

It just mellows you out, gives you more patients in dealing with annoying people, normally makes me more talkative, results of course will vary from person to person, best benzo imo.

Sometimes it can make you drowsy.

Nah clonazepam is probably my second favourite benzo (after diazepam), its very decent.

The basic effects are: the absence of anxiety and bad thoughts (sedation, which is very euphoric in a unique way IME), very similar to alcohol, but none of the sickening dizziness that is commonly associated with alcohol (in fact many people get crazy munchies on benzos).

A good dose would be 2-4 mg, remember that on benzos you don't realize how fucked up you are (compared with alcohol), so if you're somewhere where you need to act straight just be very careful how you act and what you say. Otherwise if you don't need to act straight, there's not much physical danger from benzos alone; so taking too much won't be dangerous, your memory might be a bit foggy and it's more than likely you'll be acting like an obnoxious fool - it's really easy to get yourself into a disastrous situation.

Say if you take x mg of clonazepam, and once it's peaked (usually an hour on a near empty stomach) and you feel that it's not enough, rather than redosing with clonazepam IMO its a better idea to just kick it up a notch with a beer or two and some pot (because I find that when you redose with the benzo after the initial dose of the benzo has peaked, a tolerance has already built in and it won't effect you nearly as much and you're pretty much wasting your precious benzo stash)

Mixing high doses of benzos and alcohol is obviously dangerous, but when you get the dose right it can be a nice combo. BUT if you find that you are very inebriated from the benzo alone, its much wiser to just kick it up a notch with only some weed.

^this one has got the right idea

don't make it a daily habit though. shit's addictive.
detox from klonopins and alcohol at the same time is not fun.

I just can't understand how people can get addicted to benzos because of the TOLERANCE.

Even dosing a second time the next day for me will barely bring about any effects, and even if its a mega dose to compensate for the tolerance it brings none of the good effects.

I guess I'm lucky that I get such an immediate tolerance, otherwise I'd probably not have enough self control to not indulge very frequently.

Well benzo addiction is very real as I've heard MANY stories about how bad it is - I just can't understand how someone could continually dose to the point they get addicted, considering how quickly the tolerance develops.

Well I was only physically addicted to xanax once. I had been taking about 20-30mg per day for about 4 days, and there was definitely some mega-tolerance. On the 5th day, I only had the last 4-5mg left in my script and I got a few from someone else too, but it wasn't enough to keep me from withdrawing. I hallucinated some very freaky shit that night and it creeped me the fuck out. I also had some of the worst anxiety that I've ever had in my life. I'm very lucky and confused that it was the only time I ever became physically addicted to benzos. lol

benzos are highly addictive, for me at least. i've never built up a physical tolerance (that i know of) but yeah if i dose for like a week and a half and then don't have any one day, i'm extremely i-fuckin-rate and basically want to shut myself off in a room and sleep forever.
i think i have a psychological tolerance. if someone were to give me a sugar pill that looked and tasted like a xanax/valium/klonopin it would probably do the trick. just saying.
alcohol is a whole nother story.

when i was started on klonopin it was to be 1mg in the morning and 1mg at night, with one 0.5mg PRN.

i started this regimen in the psych ward and was given my first dose of 1mg in the morning... for some reason i was totally trashed, couldnt remember anything, majorly sedated. needless to say the doctor brought it down to .5mg :(

I was prescribed klonnie to help me sleep. I decided to stop taking it after about 1 year of use. If you take this regularly for a few weeks or more WEEN YOURSELF OFF of it. Withdrawl from this shit is no fun.I quit cold turkey and I was so nervous and on edge for about 3 weeks.

I watched my mom try to quit cold turkey after 7 years of using.

The fucked up thing is... she had never used them recreationally, only as advised by the doctor.

That night was memorable, to say the least

They jusy made me go to sleep, or "pass out" is a better description. I found them to have ZERO recreational use.
