No, I think Jar Jar Binks Walked away with it.

For the record, I have to say this film really puts other more recent films is perspective. I mean, Will Smith tried the lone acting role in I am Legend, and he was soulless in comparison.

    Tom Hanks is pretty remarkable.

So, it was a Tom Hanks weekend with Cast Away on Friday and Apollo 13 on Sunday (The 40th anniversary of that fright flight in space).

When I was like 12-ish one of my friends laughed when Wilson got lost and I realized he had no humanity.

Is it just me or was this movie just so boring

My ex justin wanted to check it out years ago ago. I'm like ok cool. So we put it on and I said maybe me should go to Greg's party together. He says yeah be quiet I'm watching. Guys are such dicks.
anyway I was mad but I still saw enough to comprehend that it's just a stupid and random movie. I think Tom Hanks should stick to smart movies like The Terminal and Forest Gump.

    Stupid and random?

Yes, the studio randomly decided to spend millions of dollars.

I love how you don't give any reason for it being stupid though...

Yeah, good movie with suspenseful moments even tho you know they made it back OK. They let you know all the things that did go wrong, could've gone wrong and how they were overcome - pretty much "flying by the seat of their pants" in a crippled space craft making up the plans as it went along.

You would have to appreciate the historical time (I was there). Before watching the movie on Sunday, there was a news special on about the 40th anniversary and the movie was pretty close to actual events.
