Why do you have dreadlocks??

I noticed alot of people have dreads and are into them..
Can you tell me why?what do they mean to you personally?

I would look stupid if I had dreads... I think it's because I tend to shower regularly

I don't know why I have dreads other than I always loved the look of them. Now though, the thought of not having them almost scares me because they're such a part of me. Last night I had a dream that I cut them off and dyed my hair pillbox red! I got so upset so tried to dread my 3 inches of hair and sew on the ones I'd cut off. I think if I ever cut I'd instantly regret it. The thought makes me feel ill, but then again-who knows how your gonna feel in a few years time.

 

yeah i think i would instantly regret cutting even thought they annoy me sometimes. with their tugging and falling in my face ....grrr
