I think people who claim to be Christians, yet are in the military, allow themselves to be trained as murderers, and, in some cases, use that training to kill, are the biggest hypocrites.
Incidently, yes, there will be a WWIII--probably between the US and China initially, and then spreading throughout the Middle East and possibly into Europe.
Security Forces in the AIR FORCE, are not cold blooded killers. As much as you would like to believe that. We are trained to guard our Air force bases, rarely does an SF person kill anyone. Were not trained as murderers were trained as protecting our people within out bases. I take it you also believe that cops are trained to be murderers, (Im a military cop) and the fbi, and every other agency that is out to protect its citizens. You sir are a moron, you know nothing about the military, get over yourself, and do somthing with your life. My primary training was to be on the explosive ordinance disposal team. I was trained to secure explosives, to keep them from harming civilians. Then I moved on and became an SF.
That statement alone kind of proves my point. The Bible is the word of God. It's not just some religious book.
What are you talking about? I didn't say "some religious book." Wow you are good at trying to take things out of context. Im sure there is a circle of hell reserved for people like you. The bible is a book reguardless of it being "the word of god." It has a religion basing itself on the writings! Therefore its a religious book. Please pull your head out your arse.
Thanks for the laugh... although it's more sad than comical. Way too much false Christianity going on around here
What ever helps you sleep at night. Explain how I meet the definition of "false christian." Please, in a non-biased point of view.
Actually, false Christianity doesn't help me sleep at night. It's very sad that the original meaning of God's word has been taken out of context. The bit about believing.... many mainstream Christians think that all they must do is pray and believe and that gives them salvation. That is the farthest thing from what the Bible says. It's one thing to know the words of the Bible and another thing to know what they mean. That is where most people fail in their walk with the Lord. To know what it means, you must first possess his Spirit (infilling of the Holy Ghost). Jesus said the Spirit would guide us in ALL truth. Without the Spirit, reading the Bible is just like reading a novel.
Thanks for not answering my question. Luke 6:37 - "Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;" James 5:9 - Do not grumble, brethren, against one another, that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the doors. Just letting you know that it sounds like you are doing alot of judging.
Yeah, it is convenient that everyone loves to leave out the verse about when you see someone in the wrong, correct them. But no one EVER forgets that verse about judging. There is a HUGE difference between being judgemental and seeing false Christianity But, because most people do not possess the Holy Spirit, they will continue to notice the verse about judgement, and forever forget about correction. Salvation (there is a post about that a few pages back in Christianity), letting the Holy Ghost guide you, and doing God's will is what a Christian is. They follow the Lord. Believing in God and assuming that makes someone a Christian is where many people are misguided and it is very sad, because a lot of mainstream Christian churches will tell you that you are on the right path when they themselves are not.
hmmmm. that sounds alot like an interpritation. And alot like your trying to justify being judgemental. Why can't you accept that there are different/conflicting beliefs in christianity. Just because someone thing differently then you do doesn't make them a non-christian. If christianity is all about the way YOU believe, then I personally wouldn't want to be a christian.
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16)
Because that is not the intent of Jesus Christ... His intent was that all of his followers be of one accord, just as they were when they were filled with his Holy Spirit during Pentecost.
I guess that he is very dissapointed in christianity in general today then. Considering there is over 1000 denominations that is wrong in you little pentacostal mind.
I'm not sure where you came up with that thought. I'm saying it was the Christian vote that put Bush back in office, and Kerry did not get the votes he needed, because the party of choice killed off those votes by abortion years ago. From this point on the number of Republican voters will grow by the tens of thousands every year. While the party of choice will be searching everywhere trying to figure out what happen to their voting block. There is such a thing as religion and there is such a thing as Christian faith. Sometimes the two merge and sometimes they donot. My fundie definition of a Christian is based on the words of Christ. Your arguement is not with me, but with Him.
According to the bible america will never get a shot off. It will be a sneak attack by russia. It states are cities will burn and our nation will come to her end in one hours time.
Any religious denomination that does not remain tied to Apostolic tradition (that means, how he told the apostles to conduct themselves after he was gone)... is not of God Like I said, he did not intend for Christianity to branch off in several directions. That is why the verse says, "There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called. One Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." (Ephesians 4:5) Christ said that when he was gone, the antichrist-like spirit of false doctorine would move it and it did. That is why we have several different religious factions. Everyone likes to argue over who is right and who is wrong. It simply boils down to this. The Bible says Baptism must be done in Jesus name. The Bible says that you must be filled with the Holy Spirit. The Bible says there is but one God. If Christ says these things, and someone does not follow them, they are not a Christian. A Christian hears the Lord and follows him. I just find it interesting how most denominations read these very things in the Word and try to deny that it applies to them. I also find it amusing when people say things such as, "Your little mind".
