Paracetamol is soluble in methanol but not pseudo, the process would
undo tablets powder and add methanol, paracetamol was dissolved in methanol and then filtered to remove the paracetamol. The residue on the filter should be pseudo and other excipients, the residue was dissolved in water at ph12, to form the free base .. and then extracted with xylene then form salt with xylene in contact with water + HCl ph4, separate water and evaporate

    Is this correct?

The method is not correct, pse also dissolves in methanol. I think with what I've read that with a simple extraction A / B would be correct to remove the PSE. I have not tried. I hope someone will confirm. Anyway, the methanol is used as fuel to ignite barbecue.

Why not just do a cold water extraction like people do with hydro?
