Obesity sucks. Fat people are fat. They are obviously fat and this problem has probably been obvious for a long time. But whenever the word "Fat" comes in to play, its like your informing them of something they don't want to know. Like they know it, but are obviously avoiding the obvious reality of their problem, which was incredibly gradual and could have been changed at any time. They feel pain in some way and food had filled that hole. Just like Pot fills that hole for some of us. They just approach the pain/dis-comfort differently.

Oh and dude no joke I have been exactly where you are on the food situation. I'm like a Ramen master chef. Bummer that you guys called the cookie bluff. I only have none.

Marijuana is not a gateway drug because there is no such thing as a gateway drug. The concept itself is flawed and unintelligible.

If the gateway drug theory is correct. 'Freewill' and its definition are flawed to some degree I think.

I 100% agree "pot" is a gateway drug, it is what got me into mushrooms, which in turn is what made me curious about LSD which led to my use of moly, but just because "pot" is a gateway drug does not necessarily mean it is a ad thing. Without psychedelic drugs i would not know nearly as much about myself as i do today. They have opened me up to a whole new way of thinking about things. On the flipside i do know people who have started to use harder drugs after pot just to get more fucked up,so i guess what im saying is the gateway experience depends on the intent of the user.

People that are sensitive about being called fat need to stop being pussy-footed with. It's like an alcoholic - you don't get anywhere telling them they drink a lot - you gotta tell them straight out - you drink TOO much.
We need to do the same with fat people. "Stop eating so goddamn much." Nice and simple.
    Ahaha.
Yeah, it's the worst when you end up coming up with new ways to make ramen cause you've been eating it so much =P

Amen man. I mean I don't mind fat people. Most of them have a good sense of humor from my experience. If every obese person gave just 1/3 of their yearly diet to people who actually need it, it would put a decent size dent in curing world hunger. We just eat a lot because its there, theres nothing wrong with taking as much as you want and we have disposable income.

I don't think what I was trying to say came out right.

I never said marijuana will make you do other drugs. I didn't say that it's even a definite thing. All I'm saying that with my limited experience, people who start toking are somewhat more likely than the average person to become interested in other things.

It's not marijuana itself, but the system that is set up right now.

I'm on an ipod touch right now, I'll try to be more clear when I get home.

Yeah, either way it may lead to other things... This is more of what I was gettin at.

My definition of a gateway drug may differ from other forumers as well...

Marijuana in itself I do not believe to be a gateway drug. Was it the first illegal drug I tried? Yes. Did I go on to do other drugs? Oh Yes. But the reason that Marijuana leads to other things is pretty much because of the fact that it is illegal and grouped in with all of the other hard drugs. Think about it, all of your life you have been told that drugs are bad and that you should never do them. So you try Marijuana and you like it, and think hey this isnt so bad, and ur interests peak towards other drugs. Since you have been told lies all of your life about Marijuana you have no reason to believe what you have been told about anything else and so the cycle of drug use starts.I believe the legalization of Marijuana would really put a huge dent in the use of hard drugs, we need to atleast change how we teach our children about Marijuana and other drugs.

If marijuana were a gateway drug I personally have to consider alcohol a gateway drug as well.

Marijuana leads to the mind and sense enhancers and alcohol leads to the numbing and mind dullers.

My little sequential list of these, although not necessarily done in order.

    Marijuana> Mushrooms> LSD> RC's (obscure psychs)
Ecstasy and Ketamine (dissassociatives) lie somewhere in between.
    Alcohol> Cocaine > Meth > Opiates

I was interested in psychedelics before I tried weed. The only reason I tried weed before I got around to trying psychedelics is because it's so damn easy to get.

Same here, I actually got offered LSD and Ecstasy before I ever tried weed. I turned them down though, cause at the time well I thought Ecstasy could kill me from using it one time. Like russian roulette probability.

don't know why i turned down the acid but glad because I had baseball practice at 9 the following morning and it was already 11 at night when they offered the stuff, and I had no idea at the time how long it lasted.
