I got beat down by the police 2 months ago and I'm trying to sue the police department so I got an appointment yesterday to get it documented that I'm really traumatized ( it looks good in court ) By the way, I'm NOT depressed lol, I faked symptoms at the doctor yesterday to try and get prescribed something good like xanax, or adderall. Preferably adderall, but I told him i couldn't sleep and some other things. He gave me a paper on Post traumatic stress disorder or something and prescribed me three meds. Zoloft for anti-depression, ambien for sleep, and naproxen for headaches. I really don't plan on taking these at all. In truth I don't have any of these symptoms I described. Plus I've heard some bad things about Zoloft, and that it actually MAKES you depressed and not the opposite. I go back to the doctor on april 1st, and what should I tell him? That the Zoloft is making me suicidal? He should prescribe something that will "speed" me up after that shouldn't he? Like I said I have no intention of taking zoloft at all. I have a financial code, so i don't have to pay for any meds or anything lol. But I really want to get some adderall, I actually DO think I'm a little bit adhd. thanks for any help.
Yeah I wouldn't recommend taking the zoloft if you're not really depressed. lol Definitely take the Ambien though. That shit is pure pwnage And no....you won't get adderall for depression
tell him that you have anxious thoughts at night running through your mind about the incident and you cant go to sleep.. if you bring up anxiety from your ordeal theres a chance he will prescribe you some benzos like xannies or klonipins
Ok. So i got another appointment tommorow. what should i tell him to get prescribed adderall? that the zoloft isn't working? their just going to give me more anti-depressants if i tell him i'm sad all the time or depressed.
Naa - Don't take Zoloft if you don't need it - you won't get any kind of high. I've taken it for years and works great for depression for me. I'm not entirely sure what they're prescribing adderall for these days but I'm afraid you've got a pipe dream going. Ain't gonna happen - Now benzos are a different matter. Anxious, panic attack, uncomfortable in your own skin - that kind of stuff.
Pipe dream...maybe..maybe not. the doc prescribed me a med called "Risperdal", it's like anti-psychotic, anti-schizophrenia shit. Most likely no recreational value. But they did give me a referral to Psychiatrist, so maybe when I get in there, I just tell them that the meds work, and I no longer hear voices, but I still feel adhd or something.

Yeah, if they are giving you meds like Risperdal and Zoloft, they wouldn't risk putting you on Adderall. Adderall usually makes depressed people have horrible mood swings, so doctors don't usually mix them.
Don't take Anti-D's if you don't need them, your screwing with some important functions in your brain. They can have some unpleasant mental and physical side-effects as well which would be a drag to deal with for no real reason.
They certainly won't give you adderall if they think it could aggravate psychotic symptoms which you may be implying with "voices".
Zoloft...I don't get it. First of all, zoloft makes it very hard for people to reach orgasm. That would CAUSE depression for me. Second Adderal...never tell a doc ya can't sleep and then ask for it, NEVER. Tell them you can't concentrate.
You complain about not sleeping and seeing things and hearing voices and you want an amphetamine that *can* cause those exact symptoms, not to mention keep you awake for a long time depending on how much you abuse them...If you were looking for an upper drug you went in the totally wrong direction here. Now your only chance is a downer like a benzo (Valium, Xanax, Klonopin, etc.) IF that...it seems to me they might think you're just crazy based on these meds you're getting...
i take zoloft, among other things. but i am really off the wall suicidally looney without my meds, unfortunately. good luck suing the cops though. when they do a full background check of you and run your ip address and find this thread i'm sure they'll have no doubt you're so seriously traumatized.
Yep - me too - but at my age I don't have the energy to orgasm twice daily. At one time I took Paxil - not that was a different story. It was hard work to com.
