If anyone has any knotty boy bars or liquid they don't want i will gladly take them off your hands - i know kb isn't very well regarded on here, and i know and agree with most of the reasons why, so no need for lectures. but personal feelings about their philosophies aside, i happen to love their soaps and what they do for my hair. YMMV of course. if anyone has any to sell/swap, note me or email me at earthymamawitch AT hotmail DOT com & i'll get back to you.

BTW I'm Jenn and this is my 4th set of dreads. 3 years total dreading now and I just started this - hopefully final - set of dreadies a week ago. and I am WAX FREE. I posted this on the swap/sale board and was sent here.

    peace,
    Jenn

welcome to the dread forum. Couldn't you just buy some online or at a store? Buying soap from other people online is kinda strange. Anyway, good luck with your dreads. :D

Better to buy it from someone who doesn't want it, than a rather obnoxious, leecherious company?

thanks for the welcome. buying or trading with someone feels kind of like recycling/reusing to me - just because it didn't work for them, doesn't mean it should be thrown out and put into a landfill. Pass it on to someone who can use it, and thus less waste/better for the earth and all that.

same reasons i compost, recycle and use cloth diapers.

I get the whole recycle and save the world thing, but c'mon it's soap, do you really want to be using someone else's soap? Even if it's supposedly brand new, you never know.

Enayes, its not like the user would rub their grubby hands in the soap then put it back in the bottle :D

Welcome Earthy :) Sounds like a good idea :D I've never used KB so I don't have any stuff to give youuu :(

ummmm have you never bought anything 2nd hand? i mean if it was the bar soap and had been seriously used to the point of being almost gone i would think twice about paying much for it... but its SOAP. So unless someone like shit on it or coated it in dirt, it should be CLEAN even if a bit used lol.

I actually really like their liquid shampoo... lotsa good herbs in it. My girlfriend who doesnt have dreads loves it to: feels so minty fresh. Sucking up to KB aside however, I have none for you :)
