Im looking to get my ears posibly gaged, and i was wondering what is a good size to get thats small but not big. But i want it to be able to close up if i need it to for future job opps.
Sighhhhhhh. It's called STRETCHING! And 2 is the average size at which the hole will still shrink up completely after removing the jewelry. You can stretch to around that size without anyone really caring. 4 if your paranoid.
Or you could just avoid the cost that comes along with stretching and not bother if you're just going to take them out. and yes, it's Stretching, not gauging.
ugh I've known people had their ears at 1" and even they closed up eventually. So don't worry too much. Careful tho.. everyone says they'll stop at a certain gauge and then.. they keep going up!
This lol. When i first got my ear pierced i was like. Oh idk... maybe like 8g.. then i went to 2g now im gonna go to 00??? And yeah "ill stop at 00g" Seriously though. I dont wanna get to big.
Yes, it's called stretching. My ears are very small and I have 00 right now... stretching to 7/16 soon. Its very addictive! I've had mine going for over a year and they're like my babies Im scared of not taking control in time and they'll get too big lol. ONE LOVE <3
I have 00 and I love them.But if you dont want to go to big and still want to have plugs go to a 2 and you will be fine.
haha so true... I've had my stretched for 6 years or so now... I was originally gonna stop at 0...then 00...then 7/16....then 1/2.... now I'm at 5/8s gonna go to 3/4 soon, and then no bigger!! I swear!!! :hurray:
wow hes a creep!!!.. just had to throw that out there... i got 4mm on thursday... its too small tho!! i want ones a lil bigger but i dont want huge ones either... cant wait to get them stretched again
go 2 inches!, you can always get the cut and made smaller when the day comes you don't like them big.
I have actually stretched mine twice. The first time, I went to a 0g (when I originally planned at stopping at a 4g) and then I got to the point where I was like "I'm bored with this size. I can either go bigger or smaller" and opted to go smaller because I had the same concerns and had heard any bigger, and I probably wouldn't wouldn't be able to go back to a "normal" size. My ears only closed up to about a 10g. Which sucked, because I felt like I couldn't do anything with them. So I stretched them again, and I've been hanging out at a 2g for awhile. At this point, I just figure that if I'm going to want "normal" ear lobes again, I'll just have it done surgically.
