you may have overcharged it too often or left it in the sun for too long. the older ones are very sensitive to heat.
I have an ipod and I love the fact that i can carry about 1,000 of my songs around easily. But I hate how the battery doesnt last long at all.
My battery lasts forever unless I watch some a film or something on it. But, music doesn't use much battery on mine at all.
I am on my third I-pod. I like the portability and high storage capacity. I really only use it when I work out. When I am at home I never use it, I prefer records, or a CD. I have the Apple sound dock, which I thought sounded better than the BOSE. The only reason I have the dock was it used to be in my office. Now that I have a new job, I never use the dock. I think Apple has shitty customer service and I do not really care for the I-Tunes dahboard if I wanna make a cd, would rather use good old Windows Media Player. I have a few friends that love their Zune...
I have a Zen X-Fi its the best, my sister has a ipod and I had to use it for awhile because I broke my USB cord. I hated it the battery didn't last very long and i-tunes is annoying to use so I downloaded a new media player.Never again!
I have an eight year old Creative MP3 player with FM tuner. Works better then most on the market today. Thought about getting an ipod, however I just don't like Apple's products. What also turned me off was, I read and heard all the horror stories about how short of a battery life they have. At least with my MP3 player I have my rechargeable AAA battery on hand always.
i got an MP3 and its on the verge of death i cant change the songs on it on the computers anymore so i have to lissen to the same songs over and over and over again..
Well, no I do not own an Ipod or an Mp3 player. I have trouble paying the rent and the internet bill. I would like to own one but being living on a fixed income the idea is nice and all but for now its like listen to the radio and youtube. Poverty Sucks.
I have an iPod touch and its my main source for the Internet. There probably is a service you can use to set it up on your own, but I just leech off wireless networks from my roommates and public places like barnes and nobles. The iPod touch has a separate youtube app, so it would probably work nice for you. I got an 8 gb and I have about 1400 songs, it probably holds just under 1500. There is also higher gb iPod touches but they usually are about $50 more for the next level. I was skeptical and in some ways I miss CDs but the convenience and portability of an iPod is nice.
Keep in mind that if you're getting an iPod for computer like functions, you can get a netbook or other mini lappy for just like a hundred dollars more, and if macs your thing, go grab a dell mini 10 V (the V's important... normal mini 10 wont do it, buisniss section of their site only i think) and you can install mac os X on it, as it's got macbook air specs. Or just run ubuntu on it. Yes, I have a touch, and don't use it a whole lot at the moment, but I do like it.
