I saw Alice In Chains last night and it was AMAZING! Really Jerry Cantrell is fucking incredible, the way he rips on that guitar...!!!!! And although no one can ever replace Layne Staley, I give William DuVall a lot of credit. He was awesome! I was very skeptical when I first heard Alice in Chains was coming out with a new album because I thought the band could never make it without Staley. But I was proven wrong. I must admit, I cant stand that song "check my brain" because its on the radio every two seconds and I think its almost pop-sounding. But they played alot of older songs and it was great! I was fortunate enough to get floor seats, which was really just standing as close to the stage as possible. I was THREE people away!!!! Okay, I just needed to share the experience...How do you feel about the new AIC?
sounds awesome. I wouldnt mind seeing alice in chains. I am a huge fan of the early stuff and when they first toured with the new singer, I couldnt bring myself to see them, it didnt feel right. But I like the new album its not dirt but its better than alot of music these days. They seem to work well together.
