I aquired a bottle of iv dilaudid but tried injecting it and failed horribly. How do you know you're in the vein? Just pulling back the syringe? Because only bubbles happened when I did that. Could you just do it IM?
Practice makes perfect. Make sure you're going after a fat vein, tie off or take a hot shower to help em appear. Also make sure the angle is deep enough and not just skimming the surface. A good way to make sure you're in is to put the needle in just a little and pull back then push in further until you see blood. This way you know exactly when you hit the vein and not go all the way in before you pull back because you could have gone too far. Once you get it, its liking riding a bike. IM would be selling out in my opinion, it would work but you'd miss that awesome rush.
What would happen if you just drank a dose instead of IV-ing it? I had always heard that it's a waste of time to take dilaudid unless you IV it...
If you've got IV dilaudid, you owe it to yourself and to everyone who has ever had it to inject that shit into you immediately and without hesitation.
I also fucking missed last night, my veins in my arms are fucked, im trying to hit the realy thin blue ones at the mo .. You know when your " In " a main line because on pulling back the plunger blood ( Dark coloured ) should pull back in the barrel, if very bright colured blood then your in an artery, then just sink the plunger down and enjoy your hit. Ive had to revert bck over to the foil with my H, ive fucked my hands, arms, legs, and feet ... Ill tell you know its not worth it ! Back when i started if i knew now what i know now id have NEVER, EVER injected tbh . but there you go ......
This. The people in this thread trying to deter to the OP are certainly in the wrong thread. To the OP: Stick the needle in your vein, you may need to tie off (I don't HAHA). Make sure the bevel is facing upwards. When you think you are in, pull back the plunger and blood should shoot up into the chamber. If that happens, you are good to go, if not... you missed. If little air bubbles are coming up when you're trying to flag, that's a miss.
You cant tell vein from artery by the blood that rushes your plunger... also if your in an artery your gonna know it b/c it would hurt like a bitch. Veins dont hurt to enter, unless its bruised from a recent stick.
