Whos doing something special for our mother earth today??? I'm on a comittee who's planting 100 redbud trees along a river bank in my town.
funny was at a state park most the day and didnt see anything there related to earth day, some gas company workers checking the ground ( i suppose they were looking for places to drill.. this saturday, the same park I can shoot a Tom Turkey, till noon anyways.. :[p
I didnt do anything...I noticed bags of garbage all over the roads though so I guess the school kids were forced into labor groups and cleaned up the ditches or something before I woke up :coffee:
earthday was cool.I burnt a big pile of brush,my neighbor burnt some old tires,another neighbor burnt part of an old trailer they're tearing down,& my other neighbor sprayed weeds on the fencerow.thats how we do it in MO
