haha... would you guys buy your close friends tickets to a music festival as a birthday present or is that something too expensive to do?
That would be an awesome gift no matter. Tickets can be expensive, but there are plenty that are really inexpensive. $50 or less for a weekend of camping and music is a bargain no matter how you slice it. You don't need to spend $200 and get lost in a sea of 20,000 people to have fun. Getting back to the whole gift thing, awesome idea. I'd be super psyched to get tickets as a gift. Especially if it were something I was on the fence anyway. Very thoughtful.
my best friend bought my ticket to rock on the range this year... 2 day tickets to be exact for 153 dollars
Just be sure you don't buy a gift that forces someone to spend more money than they can handle. Tickets are amazing but some people can't afford gas for a long drive and the other expenses that come with a fest. But you'll probably have most of that figured out if you're inviting your buddy to a fest with you. Also, figure out what you can about their schedule so you don't waste the money on tickets they won't use. Its an easy gift to mess up because theres lots of reasons why someone can't go to a festival even with free ticks but if you plan well and get it right, that makes an amazing birthday present!
Good point... Festivals can be expensive and sometimes just the trip alone can be much more than the ticket prices.
well needless to say, my good friend got me tickets to see dirty heads, sublime with rome and maytisahu. it may not be a music festival but its a damn good birthday present involving music that is not an instrument. good job friend
